The 2016 Squadron Six Legacy Group Leadership Conference

The spring semester is defined by its many transitions. Among these transitions are the freshman, sophomore, and junior class’ adjustment to their future responsibilities, and the senior class’s adjustment to the ‘real world’. Despite the challenges inherent to this transitional period, the freshmen will ultimately learn how to train like sophomores, the sophomores will learn to manage personnel, and the juniors will take up the mantle of visionary leadership.

"The quality and generosity of this alumni-led conference has truly given new meaning to the phrase 'Aggie Network'"

In light of these transitions, the outfit was honored to participate in the 2016 Squadron Six Legacy Group Leadership Conference. This conference is unique because it is completely organized and maintained by the outfit's amazing legacy group. The goal of the conference is to provide space for current cadets to have one-on-one interactions with leaders whose careers span a wide variety of fields and positions. This year, the focus of the conference was on the resources that students have at their disposal to become engaged participants and active leaders in their chosen fields. The quality and generosity of this alumni-led conference has truly given new meaning to the phrase “Aggie Network”. As the outfit begins the process of inevitable change this spring, it is grateful for the wonderful start it has been given by its alumni.
